I like the akira/GITS-style punks in your backgrounds.
Isn't it dangerous to even ride the elevator with gang members around?

Thanks! I had fun drawing them. It isn't dangerous to ride the lifts, since everything is under surveillance, can't have an unauthorized interactions going on.

Those were gang members, I just saw a hot guy, lol. They are under surveillance even from the toaster, I get that, but what about police patrols? I guess they are more on upper lvls even though they should be in lower then?

Not particularly gang members, just low-level folks wearing the usual 80's punk gear. And yeah police presence is greater on high levels, lower levels rely mostly on the surveillance, sub-levels have zero law enforcement.

I like how you did the first set of the rough vs clean this week with the hover over the panel to change it.

Also I know you like retro synth music so I wanted to suggest some bands for you to listen to! I will list the band and then suggest songs to listen to in parentheses.

Check out: Superhumanoids (Geri, So Strange, Gjost, Free State, Do you Feel That), Big Black Delta (Side of the Road, Betamax), M83 (Midnight City, Claudia Lewis, OK Pal), Electrik People (Make Me A Bird), Beach House (The Hours, Wild, Troublemaker, New Year, Other People).

Yeah! So hopefully you like them! Every time Those songs come on I am like "Oh I should suggest this to the Buying Time author" so now I did! Of course it's not out of the older decades, but there is a lot of inspiration from them. Let me know what you think of them!

Thanks I liked how it came out as well, I might try it again for future hiatus packs.
I'll definitely check out the bands you listed, thanks! And most of the stuff I listen to is 'new retro' anyways, new artists emulating the oldschool sounds, so it's all good1

Are you doing something like this for a living? It would be a shame if your skills weren't even making you money

I have a fulltime job making art assets for mobile apps. While not comic book (though sometimes it is if the project needs it!) it's still drawing for a living.

Wanted to second liking how you did the mouse over with the rough vs clean. That was pretty cool!

Just wanted to say summer is in full swing here with today reaching 107. What are the temps like in Hyperion City?

And coming here tonight was a nice way to end my evening after a rough weekend. Seeing Vinnie always does manage to bring a smile to my face.

Of course I'm a little nervous with that preview. Galvin looks uneasy.

The temp inside the city is a 'happy medium' between the extreme heat of the wastelands and the fact they are essentially hundreds of feet underground in the city.

Thanks! I'm trying to envision a happy medium. Living in the desert where 100+ is often the average, getting down to 80 is down right chilly sometimes. But I imagine it quite humid.

I also liked the first page of roughs vs cleans, it was a neat new way to see those! Although I definitely like being able to see both at the same time. I think it's a nice interactive change C: Thanks for another hiatus pack, I hope your summer is going well :^
