Here is the 'official' Chapter 2 End Supplement, a little ditty that explains the Levels of Hyperion City a bit more in-depth. I've included characters and locations we've seen so far (and a few we'll see in early Chapter 3).
Thanks for the continued patience during the hiatus, buffer is coming along slowly but surely, still aiming for either the 15th or 22nd to launch Chapter 3 depending on how much else I can get done in that time, I'll keep everyone updated as usual.

There are other cities, but Hyperion is the largest by a wide margin

Although it's a ways away, releasing it on the 22nd would be cool. You did say you would be on hiatus for the end of the summer after all, and the 22nd is the start of Autumn c:

That's interesting and makes things clearer, thanks.

Primarily uninhabitable? is that a teaser? I'd have thought with the technology to build this huge crater city there'd be attempts on structures to re-inhabit the surface. I tke it below level 200 you don;t get to view topside.

This the only city?

It is a bit of a teaser for some minor characters that are mentioned next chapter, and some side-story bits in the future, I'd like to have the characters take a day trip out in the wastelands at some point.

It's not the only city, but the largest.

interesting. I get a better feel of the social structure of this society. Didn't realize how low Vinnie's status is.

Love all the work you've done on this comic, just noticed a slight "glitch"...

In his bio Fridge is said to live on level 14 with his pawnshop but on the map it's located on level 34.

Anyways keep up the excellent work :)

And this is the part where I say that I made a typo... It was supposed to be 32 :D

1st time commenting. Love this comic (concept and execution)!

I have 2 questions concerning the levels:
1) how do HCC workers go from the core to the upper levels without being in danger from sub-level criminals? Are the lifts really that secure?
2) how come Vinnie and Galvin have such a huge income gap since they'r both basically factory workers? Is Galvin rich because of his sister's repair shop?

1.)The lifts are pretty secure, we see them on a couple occasions, aside from being scrawled with graffiti they are pretty safe, this future is riddled with surveillance systems. Also the lifts themselves aren't connected to the sublevels, you have to exit a lift, and make some other detours to get into them.
2.)That gets cleared up in Chapter 3.
