Bit of a short page this week, I know. But this sequence was originally part of the previous page, and much shorter, I opted to expand it to a full page showing off what a full synth can do.
We're almost at the end of this chapter, stay tuned for the chapter conclusion next Sunday.

Above the elbow, essentially. Best way to salvage synth parts on the black market!

Wow, GO FRIDGE! Woot!!! :D
But ahhh no! Galvin!! Not only did they actually cut his arm off, they cut it off a lot higher than I expected!! D:

Well, they're boned
ChrisBall 4th Oct 2015, 4:22 AM edit delete reply
The bag with the arm in it is right there on the ground. At least they didn't cut off anything important.

HOlY fUck, that was REALLY COOL! I wish this story had more action sequences now. Keep up the great work!!

I enjoy action sequences a lot, though given the format and genre of BT the chances to do them are limited. The next project I'm gearing up for after BT will change that.

Ah damn cowards that rat escaped! but now im worried for Galvin I hope Fridge can take him to a doctor quick, to reattach his arm

Well that was really unexpected they did it

He might not have escaped ;)

HELL NO! Bastards they cut his whole arm? Instead of just taking just the synth part. and worst of all the main criminal escaped "sighs"
Guest 4th Oct 2015, 7:02 AM edit delete reply
I get the feeling Vinnie is going to feel overly guilty for this, even if not his fault

Oh hell yeah, that was my thought exactly! Prepare in advance for the hospital bed cuddling scene.

I'm guessing Notos can neither confirm nor deny this xD

I can indeed neither confirm nor deny this.

Well I guess this pretty much rules out the possibility of Fridge setting this up as a trap, unless his mind is very, very warped and twisted that is.
Very cool to see the full, unrestricted power of a fully synthetic person.
Another high quality, fantastic update. Thanks.

Another thing, even though this is just a comic, and it is all theoretical, I believe human beings are truly capable of doing something like this, and it disgusts me to the core how people allow themselves to be consumed by hatred and jealousy to the point where they commit horrendous acts of violence on their fellow man.
I really, really, wish we could all just get along and love one another. Is it really that impossible to do?

Another cool detail I noticed, is that the machete must have stopped at the metallic bone structure of Fridge's arm, as it apparently cut through the thick, rubber like synthoid skin almost as easily as human flesh.
Notos 4th Oct 2015, 3:36 PM edit delete reply
Notos
The skin and muscle fiber is a kind of silicon, so while it's a bit tougher than flesh and blood it indeed would take about the same punishment from a machete.

holy crap! Good thing Fridge was there and they couldn't steal the arm... but Galvin must be nearly dying from bloodloss by now >_<'
RockBlackHorn 4th Oct 2015, 10:04 AM edit delete reply
MY heart beat so fast! That situation stress me a lot, poor Galvin ><" T_T ...

And I was to say something dumb and funny : Start Guile's Theme here.

I was'nt expecting that kind of abilities from Fridge, it's awesome!

A flash kick would have been pretty stylish in there. Fridge is more of the bar brawler type.

When I saw Fridge jumping over, my first thought was: Yep, they're toasted!
The machete stuck in his arms is a nice touch :D

Great action sequence. This is a "human" story, so I don't expect a lot of action, but nice, now and again ! I suspect that water is rather toxic too, for our rogue'swimmer' B-)

wow.

i didn't think you'd have the guts to do something like this, notos

good on you, mate!

though that hiatus you're about to take is going to be a killer, for me..

Yep, hiatus soon, but it's going to be shorter than usual.

Holy shit! Fridge is friggin' awesome! It's very cool to see the unleashed power of a full synth. Thanks for the action sequence, and woot, Fridge is mah hero!

Now I'm super worried about poor Galvin! Didn't expect them to be so very cruel, but they got theirs. Vinnie is going to be heartbroken over this. Awesome job as usual, Notos.

NOW I get why synth-parts are so expensive O.O They make you into a superhuman. I know you already told us about the limiters, but I didnt think full synths were this powerfull. Go Fridge! Save him! Bring him to a hospital!

Per the last page, Notos and Draginbeard, you were definitely both correct in regards to how much power/strength difference being a full synth makes to only having some synth parts! Alright Fridge! Hope he and Galvin will both be okay! And would Galvin and Fridge mind Vinny and Sybel being their main nurses while they both recuperate?
